This year, the school has partnered with Touro University to offer FREE diabetes screening through the Mobile Diabetes Education Center (MOBEC).  Visit the mobile center during the fair to get screened and learn more about nutrition, physical activity, diabetes prevention and where to find free or low cost healthcare in your area.

Complete OSHA compliant classroom training is now available at Vallejo Regional Education Center.  Class will meet on the second Friday of each month from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. 

 

Cost is $75.00 payable at the training, but you may qualify for no fees. Veterans are given priority of service. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon advance request to individuals with disabilities.

Vallejo Regional Education Center will be hosting the Trades Introduction Program (TIP) Pre-Apprentice Course during Summer 2018.

 

A FREE 120-hour MC3 Program, an introduction to the building and construction trades.  Participants receive First Aid/CPR & OSHA Certification, PPE personal protection equipment, and learn blue print reading/technology and construction math.

Course is designed for entrance into a green construction career ladder through a state certified apprenticeship program.

 

Program Requirements:

  • 18 years or older (Priority is given to disadvantaged youth, women and veterans)
  • Documentation to work
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to do physical work
  • Pass drug test
  • North Bay residents preferred
