Phlebotomy Technician Phlebotomist.jpg

Earn your certificate in as little as 3 months and qualify for an entry-level position in a laboratory setting.

As a Phlebotomy Technician you will be trained to draw blood samples from patients in a clinical laboratory or public health setting. Over the course of the program, you will gain exposure to on-the-job duties that include drawing blood samples from patients, producing quality laboratory results, gaining the trust and confidence of patients, and much more. The program includes 64 hours of classroom instruction and a 40-hour clinical phlebotomy externship.

The program will prepare you to take the Exam for Phlebotomy Certification (NCPT) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)Textbooks and Scrubs sold separately

Deposit to Enroll: $300

Program Fee: $2995 (includes liability insurance, CPR certification training for the Healthcare Provider, externship and certificate) 

Pre-requisites: 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent

As a  Medical Assistant, you will be trained to help physicians carry out procedures, care for patients, perform basic lab tests and administer medications. The Clinical Medical Assistant works in a physician's office or a clinic setting. The program consists of 160 hours of classroom instruction and a 160-hour  Clinical Medical Assistant externship.  This program will prepare you to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA). Textbooks, Scrubs and Medical Kit sold separately

Pharmacy Technician Program

As a Pharmacy Technician you will help the pharmacist prepare and mix prescriptions, maintain patient records, refer patients to the pharmacist for counseling, and assist with inventory control, payment, collection, purchasing and billing. This program includes 182 hours of classroom instruction and a 120-hour clinical pharmacy externship. The program will prepare you to take the Exam for Certified Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) from the National Healthcare Association (NHA). This program prepares students for state registration with the California Board of Pharmacy. Textbooks and Scrubs Sold Separately

Manage the front desk of a medical or dental office.  Learn medical terminology, standard patient processing, and medical billing and customer service. This program includes 80 hours of classroom instruction plus 40 externship hours. Textbook sold separately

Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician

Our EKG Technician training program will prepare you for an excellent career and to take a national EKG Technician certification exam. You will gain 70 hours of classroom instruction to help you acquire a strong understanding of electrocardiography. Over the course of 10 weeks you will be exposed to job duties including: unit operation and troubleshooting, lead placement, use and understanding of EKG grid paper, recognizing EKG patterns in all 12 leads, and plotting the EKG axis. Includes supplies and certificate. Textbook sold separately

Program Fee: $999/ $200 deposit to enroll
