Phlebotomy Technician Phlebotomist.jpg

Earn your certificate in as little as 3 months and qualify for an entry-level position in a laboratory setting.

As a Phlebotomy Technician you will be trained to draw blood samples from patients in a clinical laboratory or public health setting. Over the course of the program, you will gain exposure to on-the-job duties that include drawing blood samples from patients, producing quality laboratory results, gaining the trust and confidence of patients, and much more. The program includes 64 hours of classroom instruction and a 40-hour clinical phlebotomy externship.

The program will prepare you to take the Exam for Phlebotomy Certification (CPT1) from the National Healthcare Association (NHA).Textbooks and Scrubs Sold Separately

As a  Medical Assistant, you will be trained to help physicians carry out procedures, care for patients, perform basic lab tests and administer medications. The Clinical Medical Assistant works in a physician's office or a clinic setting. The program consists of 160 hours of classroom instruction and a 160-hour  Clinical Medical Assistant externship.  Includes CPR Training, externship and certificate. Textbooks, Scrubs and Medical Kit sold separately.

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) you will be trained to provide direct care to patients in long-term care facilities or hospitals. You will learn to take vital signs and prevent infection. This 160-hour program combines 60 hours of classroom instruction with a 100-hour off-site clinical externship. When you successfully complete the classroom and clinical instruction, you will be eligible for certification as a Nursing Assistant through the California Department of Public Health. Includes clinical externship, uniform, CPR training and required certification examination. Textbook sold separately.

Program Fee: $1599/ $200 deposit to enroll

Fall 2015 Schedule: Oct 10-Jan 31, 2016 Saturday  9:00 am-4:00 pm

Manage the front desk of a medical or dental office.  Learn medical terminology, standard patient processing, and medical billing and customer service. This program includes 80 hours of classroom instruction plus 40 externship hours. Textbook sold separately

Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician

Our EKG Technician training program will prepare you for an excellent career and to take a national EKG Technician certification exam. You will gain 70 hours of classroom instruction to help you acquire a strong understanding of electrocardiography. Over the course of 10 weeks you will be exposed to job duties including: unit operation and troubleshooting, lead placement, use and understanding of EKG grid paper, recognizing EKG patterns in all 12 leads, and plotting the EKG axis. Includes supplies and certificate. Textbook sold separately.
